Originally art directed by Herbert Temple for JET and Ebony magazines, these iconic covers have been thoughtfully reimagined by artist Shaheed Rucker. Blending the visual language of historic Black media with a contemporary perspective, Rucker replaces the original subjects with historic figures, modern influencers, cultural icons, and change makers whose impact continues to shape our world today.
